Adios Yelahanka

October 9, 2024 — A quiet departure from a place, a home away from home.

A leap of faith
Started a new chapter
Found myself home
In the heart of Yelahanka

Pg stay, Evening walk
New roomies turned into homies

Wearing my heart on sleeve,
Saying yes to new experiences

From isolating from world's chaos
To tuning into neighborhood
Connecting to people along the way
Many Hi's and bitter sweet goodbyes

Livin' the dual life - work and PG
It's best of both worlds
From hajmola gang, RRR group to PG gang
Too many people, too many memories

Snacking in lab
Midnight games
Jumping gates
Balcony talks

Strolling in malls
Weekends in Church Street
Birthdays and new year parties
Special attention to holi

Then there are treks and trips
Backpacking and exploring places
Trying new experiences

Every hostel Life teaches a lesson
Livin' more with less
Sharing and caring
Saying I got you buddy

From having my high point
To hitting Rock bottom

Though this chapter ended
As i turn back and see
Every lane in this neighborhood,
Is filled with memories

With teary eye
I bid goodbye to Yelahanka
See you again! one day!
